BandVolt's shared ledger tracks the band's income and expenses with dates, amounts, and receipt attachments, so everyone is looking at the same numbers. Recurring costs like rehearsal room rent can repeat automatically with pause and resume, and year summaries show at a glance what the band earned and spent.

How it works

One shared ledger for money in and money out - gig fees, rehearsal hire, subscriptions, equipment, and the rest. Each entry has a date, amount, optional notes, and attribution to who received or paid. Attach receipt files via secure uploads.

Recurring expense templates handle monthly or yearly costs: pause, resume, cancel, or convert a planned occurrence into a logged expense. Creating an entry notifies other members in-app so nobody is left out of the books.

What you can do

Filter by date range, member, currency, transaction type, and recurring status. Review yearly summaries for planning and taxes. Set a preferred band currency so reporting stays consistent when entries use mixed currencies.

Replace the spreadsheet on one person's laptop with numbers the whole band can see.

Why it matters

Money conversations get awkward when only one person has the spreadsheet. A shared ledger means who is up and who is down is a glance, not a meeting - and receipts live with the entry instead of in someone's camera roll.
