Mix version control for bands
One song, every mix it has ever had, in chronological order. No more guessing whether the file in the chat is newer than the one in the shared drive.
BandVolt keeps every version of a song in one place - each mix you upload is labelled, dated, and listed in chronological order with its own waveform player. Stems, lyrics, and artwork live on the song too, so nobody has to ask which file is the latest and no earlier take is ever lost.
How it works
Every mix you upload becomes a labelled, dated version on that song, ready to play from its own waveform. You can rename and download any version, set which mix is active, and mark a final mix when the song is done.
Stems and supporting documents live on the same song. Lyrics, key, BPM, time signature, artwork, and workflow status sit alongside the audio, so the creative context never drifts into a separate folder.
What you can do
Upload as many mix iterations as you need - rough demos through release masters - without renaming files or losing earlier takes. Attach individual stems (kick, bass, vocals, and the rest) and PDFs or chord sheets as supporting files.
Play any version at original quality: BandVolt never compresses your uploads. Move freely between the current mix and earlier versions whenever you need to revisit an idea or compare how the song has changed.
