Content transfer
Transfer mixes and albums to a client band - built for studios
When the session is done, hand the song or album to the band that owns it - mixes, stems, supporting files, and the full history move with it. A clean studio delivery that beats expiring zip links. Premium to send; the receiving band can stay on Basic as long as they have room.
Content transfer in BandVolt lets mix engineers, producers, and Premium bands permanently hand songs or Album/EP collections to another band - mixes, stems, supporting files, and the full comment and version history included. Unlike WeTransfer or FilePass, it is a move into the client's workspace, not an expiring zip: the destination Owner accepts, the source band loses access, and storage frees on the sender. The receiving band can stay on Basic as long as they have enough storage headroom.

How it works
A band Owner on Premium opens a song or an Album/EP collection, chooses the destination band by name or @handle, and reviews what will change - access, storage, shares, and history - before confirming. The offer sits pending until the destination Owner accepts or declines, or until it expires after 30 days.
Acceptance moves the content atomically: the song or collection lands in the destination band, or nothing does. Public links on the sending band are revoked, collaborators do not travel with the content, and the source band reclaims the storage the moment the transfer completes.
What you can do
Deliver a finished single, EP, or album from a studio or producer workspace into the band that owns it - without zipping stems or chasing expiring WeTransfer or FilePass links. Transfer one song or one whole collection per offer; a collection handoff includes every track in that Album/EP.
Invite a collaborator when the band already owns the work and you need temporary access. Transfer when you own the project and it needs to change hands. After delivery, the receiving band can invite you back as a collaborator if they want revisions.
Why it matters
Engineers and producers often finish work in their own Premium workspace, then need a clean way to hand masters to the client band. Content transfer turns that into a few clicks - and because receiving is free, an engineer can say "sign up and I'll send you your mixes" without putting a paywall in front of the band's own music. That is the delivery step FilePass and WeTransfer never solved for ongoing studio work.
