BandVolt for bands & music groups
One app for your band - songs, feedback, setlists, gigs, and money
Swap the group chat, the shared drive, and the spreadsheet for one workspace every member can open. Every demo and mix in order, every note pinned to the second, and the setlist, the gig, and the money in the same place.
BandVolt is a music collaboration and band management app for bands and music groups. Each band gets one shared workspace: songs with every mix version in order, feedback pinned to the second on the waveform, setlists built from any version, a shared calendar for gigs and rehearsals, file storage at full quality, a free Electronic Press Kit, and a ledger for band money. It runs in the browser on phone and desktop, the Basic tier is free with 10 workspace slots, and Premium is £9.99 a month for the whole band, not per person.
From voice memo to release
Every idea, demo, and mix you upload becomes a labelled, dated version of the song, in order, with its own waveform player. Stems, lyrics, key, BPM, and artwork live on the song too, so nobody asks which file is the latest and no earlier take gets lost.
Feedback lands on the waveform at the second it is about, attached to the version it was written for. Quick Compare plays two versions at the same position with loudness matching, and Mix Health checks whether a mix is ready to release.
Rehearsals, gigs, and setlists
Build setlists from any version of any song - including the live arrangement and unreleased tracks - rehearse with key, BPM, and lyrics on screen, and print a clean stage sheet. Gigs and rehearsals go on one shared calendar with the setlist and tech rider attached to the event.
Sharing and promo
Send a song to anyone with a public link that plays without an account, and revoke it whenever you like. Every band gets a free Electronic Press Kit on its own URL with bio, music, photos, videos, booking contact, and upcoming shows from the calendar.
Working with a producer or session player? On Premium, invite them to one song or a whole album without giving them the rest of the workspace.
Money nobody has to take on trust
Log gig fees, merch, rehearsal room rent, and receipts in one ledger every member can see, with recurring costs and a year summary. The awkward "who paid for what" conversation starts from the same numbers.
BandVolt is priced per band, not per person. Basic is free with 10 workspace slots; Premium is £9.99 a month with 25, so a five-piece pays about £2 each.
The features you will use most
- Version history
One song, every mix it has ever had, in chronological order. No more guessing whether the file in the chat is newer than the one in the shared drive.
- Timestamped feedback
Every note lands on the waveform at the second it is about, attached to the version it was written for - so "the verse feels off" becomes "1:47, the triplets are rushed" and the band can actually act on it.
- Setlists
A setlist that can point at the live arrangement rather than the album cut, carries unreleased songs, puts key, BPM, and lyrics in front of the band in rehearsal, and prints a numbered stage sheet when you need paper on the monitors.
- Schedule
Gigs, rehearsals, and studio time on one calendar every member can see - with the setlist and the tech rider attached to the event rather than buried in a chat thread.
- Electronic Press Kit
Free on every tier, including the free Basic tier: one link you can send a promoter, a booker, or a journalist, with bio, music, photos, videos, and booking contact on a page that stays current on its own.
- Finances
The band's money out of one person's spreadsheet and into a ledger everyone can open - income, expenses, receipts, recurring costs, and a year summary that settles the argument.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best app for a band to stay organised?
One that puts songs, feedback, setlists, the gig calendar, files, and money in a single shared place, so nothing depends on scrolling a group chat. BandVolt was built for exactly that: one workspace per band that every member can open on phone or desktop.
Is BandVolt free for bands?
Yes. The Basic tier is free with 10 workspace slots, 1 GB of storage, and no credit card required. Premium is £9.99 a month for the whole band with 25 slots and 50 GB - priced per band, not per person.
Does every band member need their own account?
Yes - each member gets their own free login and joins the band workspace by invite. The band pays once for Premium if it upgrades; members do not pay individually.
Does BandVolt replace our DAW or recording software?
No. BandVolt does not record or edit audio. It sits alongside whatever you record in and handles what happens after the bounce: versions, feedback, setlists, the calendar, files, and finances.
